CISS for Epson Stylus SX125

Bulk CISS for Epson SX125

The ciss ink system epson sx125 is an unparalleled system of ink supply, which allows ceaseless work of a printer even when ink is running short. Instead of stopping the work of their printer in the midst of the process, the users of epson sx125 ciss simply add ink to outer ink tanks and go on printing.

Incessant workflow that Epson Stylus SX125 CISS provides is crucially important when substantial amounts of prints are to be made in a limited period of time. Using CISS for Epson sx125 is much more convenient and time-efficient than printing with conventional cartridges. Besides providing constant supply of ink, the ciss epson sx125 lets consumers save costs. The tanks that contain ink in the CISS for Epson sx125 can be quickly refilled, so one does not have to buy new cartridges whenever they run short of ink.

Moreover, the tanks in the continuous ink system epson sx125 are capable of containing more ink, which lets consumers buy it in bulk and thus spend 20-30 times less. An impressive number of quality prints can be made between ink replenishments, in comparison with manufacturer cartridges. So, the ink system for epson sx125, like other CISS such as CISS for Epson Stylus SX415, is an economically feasible way of supplying ink.

What is the CISS and How Does It Work?
The Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) is an ideal alternative to original cartridges in ink- jet printing.

How Does It Work?
The ?ISS consists of three parts: ink tanks with ink of each color, a silicone tube, and cartridges with chips. The ink is constantly being added from ink tanks to the cartridges during the process of printing and then it goes through the printing head to the paper.
Usually the economy of using the CISS is about 95%, so you save $950 from each $1000 you would spend for original cartridges.

The Quality of INKSYSTEM CISS
There are no glued or soldered parts in the device. That means that there is no risk of ink pouring out.
The tube is made of A+ class silicone. Even if you make a straight angle (180 (0)), the tube will still supply the ink into the cartridges with no damaging risk.
The cartridges are made from the same materials as the original ones.
The chips are reset automatically. The original cartridges cannot be reset, but the INKSYSTEM chips can be reset as many times as you need, up to millions of copies.

The advantages of the CISS in comparison with the original cartridges
1. Huge savings ? up to 95%, compared to original cartridges!
You can easily compare the cost of 100 ml high-quality INKSYSTEM ink (South Korea) with the cost of the cartridge (standard app. 8 ml, extended volume 11 ml). Just compare 1 ml and count up the difference!
2. Quality
The INKSYSTEM CISS are made on modern factories. We have proved its high quality to tens thousands of customers and hundreds of partners in different parts of the world, from UK, and USA to Egypt, Russland, Check Republic, and Latvia. A one-year warranty is provided for all the INKSYSTEM products.
3. Easy installation
The printeres construction does not need to go through ANY changes. All you need to do is to remove original cartridges, install the CISS cartridges and set the tube into the printer. Usually this process takes 10 to 20 minutes and can easily be done at home. Otherwise you can use the FREE installation offer in the closest INKSYSTEM office.
4. Easy to use
You do not need to buy cartridges every time the ink ends up, your printer will print 15 times more until the next refilling!

What is the Continuous Ink Supply System used for:
The CISS is ideal for high-quality and inexpensive printing of colored texts and photos. The Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) can be applied on almost all ink jet printer models that have a built-in printing head because the operating life of the printing heads is almost unlimited. These requirements meet the majority of Epson and Canon ink-jet printer models, and some HP and Brother models.

Where the CISS could be used:
At home: texts, photos printing. With the CISS, even a black-and-white text is cheaper than with the laser printer! The printing of private photographs is cheaper than in a photo studio (the ink costs $0.02 per photo)
At the office: pricelists, booklets, offers, schedules and diagrams printing. A color copy of an A4-format page costs app. $0.01, whereas in the printing centers it costs app. $2-7.
Professional printing: the CISS with high-quality ink and ICC-profiles gives 95-97% quality, compared to original materials. The cost is 20 times less, so there is a chance to save a lot of money on printing!

How to install a CISS onto an Epson SX125

  1. Place the CISS on the right side of the printer (pic. 1) and straighten the pipe.
  2. Pull out the small plugs and carefully insert air filters into their place (pic. 2). Make sure to keep the plugs for further transportation of the printer with the CISS installed.
  3. Plug in the printer to the electric network. Lift the lid of the printer and the lid of the cartridge section (pic. 3). After the carriage moves into the "cartridge change" position (pic. 4), unplug the printer from the electric network by pulling the power cable out of the socket.
  4. Move the carriage into the extreme left position. Slide the cartridge block through the paper output opening in the printer and into the cartridge change window (pic. 5, pic. 8). Return the carriage into the "cartridge change" position.
  5. Insert the cartridge block into the carriage. Hold the carriage with your left hand from below, inside the printer, and push the cartridges down with your right hand until they click in (pic. 9). Place the T bracket in the middle of the printer by fixing it to the scanner bottom and fix the ink pipe into it (pic. 10).
  6. Move the carriage into the extreme left position (pic. 11) then to the extreme right position (pic. 12), check that there is no twist along the pipe and that it doesn’t interfere with the movement of the carriage. The pipe should not be slack.
  7. Place the plastic clip onto the case of the printer from the front. Fix the ink pipe into the clip (pic. 15).
  8. If the pipe is shorter than needed, pull it out in the needed direction by holding the T bracket with one hand and pulling the pipe with the other (pic. 13, pic. 14). Make sure that there is no twist in the pipe to ensure the proper operation of the printer.
  9. The ink tanks should be on the same level with the printer, not higher and not lower (pic. 13).
  10. Plug in the printer to the electric network.
  11. Switch the printer on. The “drop” button indicator will light up. Perform the chip resetting procedure described in the section “Resetting the ink level”.After the printer shows that it’s ready for operation you should perform the type head condition test. In order to do that, switch the printer off. When the printer is switched off, press the “drop” button and keep it pressed while you are switching the printer on (pic. 16). Keep the "drop" button pressed for 10 more seconds after the printer is switched on. You can also perform the type head condition test through the driver installed on your computer by going to Start - Printers and faxes and clicking the right mouse button on your printer to select Print tuning – Service – Nozzle test.
  12. In order to transport the printer replace the air filters with the small plugs. Do not leave the printer without cartridges or a CISS, otherwise the type head will dry up. Any movement of the printer from one place to another should be performed with utmost care and compliance with the transportation rules, otherwise moving the tank may result in ink leaking into the printer which will disable the device. Check the order of the colors on the sticker, on the printer and on the printed out nozzle test. In case of a mismatch the order should be changed.

Resetting the ink level

  1. If the “drop” button lights up during operation of the printer (pic. 25) you should follow the ink level resetting procedure.
  2. Press the “drop” button (pic. 26) and open the lid of the printer and the lid of the cartridge section.
  3. Get hold of the ink level reset button, press it from the back (pic. 28) and hold it for 5 to 7 seconds (pic. 29).
  4. To finish the ink level resetting procedure press the “drop” button (pic. 25).
  5. The printer will be ready for operation in several minutes.
